Help, I have a bank account that ended up over drafting.  I contacted the bank when I found out this happened but realized I could not make it good before it sky rocketed, I was told by the bank to let it 'charge off' and than make payments after it was closed because than I wouldn't get hit with all the fees they charge to an open account my question is now my husband and I are thinking of filing bancrupcy (probably chapter 7 since we own nothing ) and I was wondering if we could include this account with the BK and if we do what could happen to us for not making it a good bank account?

Thanks for your help with this matter

If you are thinking of filing, why would you make payments to the bank after your checking account is closed?  This is GREAT for your bank, and BAD for you.

Include the bank in your backruptcy.  Your bank more than likely won't want you as a customer anymore.  :(  Your a risk and a liability in their eyes.  They only want people who will make them money (interest,etc.).  Oh well...find another bank.  But do it quick.
