Bankruptcys are filed in District Court..the county you live in will be assigned to a District Court as defined by the state you live in..your attorney will do the proper filing in the proper court..as far as the newspaper, guess it's up to the newspapers policy where you live..The newspaper here doesn't publish bankruptcy notices in the paper..
