Question about chapter 13

    we filed chapter 13  a year ago and now we want to buy a home. are you able to do that or do you have to go with a owner financing or lease purchase?  help!!

    It may depend on if you already own a home and are looking to sell it and purchase another one.  Many lenders will make a loan after 12 months of payment history to the Chapter 13 plan.  Of course you have to get the okay from the Trustee.
