    I filed a chapter 7 with my ex husband due to credit card bills, and large doctor bills 6 years ago february, 2 years later we were divorced and I struggled to build up A+ credit. Unfortunatly without child support from him the loss of a job, and even harder time trying to find one and 2 thousand dollars worth of lawyers fees ahead of me, to get child support back from him, I'm in over my head I can't find a job and I feel my ship is sinking fast. The child support and minimum wage job would cut the bills but thats it. Is it worth the fight or would I be better cutting the ties again in february and getting a clean bill, so I can have a happier life with my son and not a stress filled one wondering were the next dollar bill is going to come from to pay the maxed out credit cards. Is there anybody else in my sinking ship? if so I'd like to know and does it help, and get better? Thanks for listening

    Candy, you have to do what's right for you.  'What's right' is not always what we 'want' to do, but I like to believe eventually...we all figure out 'what's right' for us.

    You wanna know what I finally figured what was 'right' for me?  NO MORE STRESS!!!  :D

    Please look at the next line, and seriously think about it for a minute.
    Credit = Stress

    Okay........stress sucks!  We don't need anymore of it.  :)
    We don't 'need' any more CREDIT!  EVER!!!  (with a couple exceptions of course - ie. house, maybe a car)

    Now, when you start over, all you simply have to do is tweak a few things on how you spend your money.  The good news is you'll have more money every month by not having to pay all the creditors right.   :)

    Okay then...learn to live with less.  Seriously.  Until you can afford something you want or need, you have to live with less.  When the times comes that you can afford it...then by all means go buy it!

    I know easier said than done, but it can be done!  Good luck! :)
